Homewreckers

So, this week the hot topic among the cyba sistas was homewreckers. You know them. Some of them used to be known as the girl-next-door-who-will-steal-your-man-if-you're-not-careful. Some of them are a little better known- Angelina Jolie, Karin Stanford and the latest- Sienna Miller. The cyba sistas argued today specifically about the lovely Karin Stanford. One sista argued zealously on behalf of Ms. Stanford. Her view included theories that made Karin a victim of seduction by one Mr. Jesse Jackson. A very, married, Jesse Jackson. Let's check credentials on all 3 before I have a final say on Karin. Angelina. 2-time home wrecking champ. To the untrained eye, she scored Billy Bob Thornton free and clear. But, hold-up. BB was married. He was married 4 times before Ang. So, maybe we shouldn't count him. But wait, Ang. Brad Pitt was in fact married. He looked happy too in all pictures with his then wife- one Jennifer Aniston. Then along came the spider, in the form of Angelina Jolie. In interviews, Ang would label Jen Brad's best friend, insinuating she was less than a wife. Now he is working with her on building a tribe. Ok. NEXT! Let's look at Sienna. We once cried with her after Mr. Jude Law cheated on her with the nanny. It seemed like it served her right as she was trailing Jude early in his separation from his wife. But we mourned with her, didn't we? Now, it is a new day and we find Sienna frolicking around with the very much still married Balthazar Getty. Oh, B.G.... What has happened? Now you have to give a statement about how you are separated. I wonder if your wife got the memo that you were so separated that you should be not only dating others but also humping them? And then we have the lovely Karin Stanford. Karin, a very educated woman appeared in a photo op with Jesse and the philandering Billy C. We should have known something was up? Karin went so far as to ALLOW herself to get pregnant by the revered, reverend Jesse Jackson. My cyba sista argued that perhaps Karin had been tricked. I figure that JJ can't trick anyone. After all, everyone knows that he is married, that he has grown children, that he is in fact the REVEREND JESSE JACKSON. So, Karin like so many other groupies probably listened to promises of wife-dumping and happily ever afters. Yet that is not what has happened. So 8 years later, Karin has some explaining to do. To her daughter and apparently also to the media. However, in none of the explanations does she accept that she likely worked, prayed and fought to disrupt the home of her married suitor. So now we flip the coin. Were the marriages of these men already at the end? Did the homewreckers recognize and go after what appeared to be a neglected but good thing? Who is at fault? I say there should be a recognized code between women. We ought to respect that our sistas are married to the perspective paramours and leave them alone until they are- let's all say it together now- DIVORCED!!!! Until then, I propose that homewreckers unite and show that they do indeed have a heart despite the love children and nude frolicking in front of the world and much to the humiliation of wives around the world. Unite and repeat altogether now- "I'm sorry Miss Jackson, (Miss Brad Pitt, Miss Billy Bob), (whoo!), I am for re-ee-alll!"
